Just prior to arrival . . . |

| This Fire, which
occured at the Brown Mt. ORV Trail in November, 2008, occured in the
middle of the trail approximately 9 miles in from the staging area.
Due to distance, environment, and terrain, the vehicle was a total loss
by the time our apparatus and personnel reached it. While enroute
to the scene, large clouds of smoke were visable from NC Hwy 181. |
